Privacy & data

This is a book launch site. It collects the minimum needed to tell you when the book is out, and nothing else. No advertising, no tracking pixels, no analytics, and nothing is ever sold or shared.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Dejan Davcevski, the author of Abyrith: The Fracturing of Light. For anything on this page, including requests to see or delete your data, write to lifecoachcode@gmail.com.

What is collected

Only what you type into a form, and only when you submit it:

No account, no password, no payment details, no address, no date of birth. Your IP address is not logged by this site.

Why, and on what basis

Your details are used for exactly one thing: sending you word of the release and the preorder link. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. That consent can be withdrawn at any time, and every email will carry an unsubscribe link.

Where it is stored

In a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, inside the EU. The list cannot be read from the website itself — the browser is allowed to add a record and to look up your own single record, and nothing more. It cannot list, export, or read anyone else's entry.

What is stored in your browser

This site sets no cookies at all. It uses local storage for two things:

Both live only on your device, are never transmitted anywhere, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Other services

The trailer is a YouTube embed using youtube-nocookie.com, and it only loads once you click play — until then, YouTube receives nothing. Once you play it, Google's own privacy terms apply. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font file.

How long it is kept

Until the launch campaign ends or you ask to be removed, whichever is sooner. Ask, and it is deleted — no reason needed and no questions asked.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw consent. Email lifecoachcode@gmail.com and it will be handled within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
